  • Liaise with government agencies at local, state, and central levels to obtain necessary approvals, permits, and licenses for real estate and other business projects.
  • Interface with various departments such as Revenue Authorities, DILR, City Survey, Municipal Corporation, Town Planning, Environmental Clearance, and Land Acquisition Authorities, ensuring all regulatory requirements are met.
  • Build and nurture strong working relationships with government officials, revenue officers, and relevant ministries to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Maintain transparency and accountability in all liaison activities by obtaining management approvals for key tasks and decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with the legal department to resolve legal matters promptly and to expedite the approval processes.

  • Handle all legal matters related to diverse business verticals, including land, real estate, entertainment (multiplex), confectionery (chocolate), hospitality, and textiles.
  • Provide timely legal advice and strategic guidance to the management to facilitate business decisions.
  • Guide and support the liaison team in securing necessary licenses, approvals, and statutory registrations under applicable laws governing the Group's diversified operations.
  • Conduct legal due diligence and title verification of properties across all verticals. Manage and advise on disputes, coordinating with external legal firms when specialized input is required.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of Indian Corporate Laws, RERA, Labour Laws, Land Laws, and compliance frameworks.
  • Lead the drafting, review, and negotiation of critical business contracts such as lease agreements, joint venture agreements, purchase/sale deeds, and other legal documents. 
  • Ensure compliance and effective coordination with internal stakeholders. 
  • Develop and implement robust legal strategies to safeguard the organization's interests and proactively mitigate potential legal risks.
  • Lead and mentor the in-house legal team, promoting a culture of professional development, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrate a high degree of professional ethics, confidentiality, and integrity.
